Newly Diagnosed with Diabetes or New to Diabetes Education?
The Powell County Health Department offers Diabetes Self-Management and Education Support classes (DSMES), as well as Diabetes Basics and Prediabetes classes. These classes are taught by a licensed diabetes educator, provide the knowledge, skill, and ability to manage diabetes and are open to residents of Powell and surrounding counties free of charge.
